STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths
Students can develop problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking skills through our specialist STEM program. The program provides hands-on, learning experiences that encourage curiosity and exploration. Our program includes:
- science experiments and investigations
- coding and basic technology skills
- engineering and construction challenges
- mathematics through real-world problem solving
Learning through STEM helps prepare students for the future by building essential skills for a rapidly changing world, fostering innovation, adaptability, and confidence in new technologies.
Sports
Students develop teamwork and team-building skills through our specialist PE and sports program, delivered by a specialist teacher and Sporting Schools accredited coaches. Our program includes:
- weekly PE lessons
- team sports (cricket, Aussie Rules, football, netball, volleyball, tennis and basketball)
- annual school sports day, district sports day and SAPSASA
- swimming and aquatics lessons
- a wide range of sporting equipment available at break time, supporting active play and encouraging participation
Languages
Japanese is our language of study for all students. Each class participates in weekly lessons delivered through Open Access College, supporting students to develop language skills while gaining an understanding of Japanese culture.
Our Japanese program includes:
- learning about Japanese art, dance, and music
- celebrating traditional Japanese events
- onsite visits with Sensei Rayna each term
