Principal and staff profiles
Welcome from our Principal
Miss Jamie Ryan, School Principal
At Kongorong Primary School and Child Parent Centre (KPSCPC), we are committed to nurturing the holistic growth of every student, ensuring they thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and environmentally. Set within a rich rural landscape shaped by agriculture and primary industries, our school embraces sustainability and environmental stewardship as key elements of learning, alongside a strong focus on STEM education that equips students with the skills to understand and contribute to the world around them.
As a small rural school, we recognise the unique advantages our setting provides. Our small class sizes and excellent student to teacher ratios enable highly personalised learning, allowing teachers to thoughtfully plan and tailor experiences to meet individual student needs. Every child is truly known, valued, and nurtured, with strong relationships forming the foundation of their learning journey.
Kongorong is more than a school; it is a deeply connected community. We pride ourselves on the close partnerships between students, staff, and families, recognising that education is most powerful when it is collaborative. Our strong family connections ensure that each child is supported not only in the classroom but within a wider network of care, trust, and shared purpose.
Guided by our core values of respect, responsibility, creativity, inclusion, and persistence, we foster a positive and inclusive culture where every student feels safe, supported, and empowered. Our teachers are dedicated mentors who inspire curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning, while modelling the values that underpin our community.
Through our commitment to environmental awareness, innovative STEM learning, and strong community ties, we prepare our students to be thoughtful, capable, and connected individuals who can confidently contribute to both their local community and the wider world.
Whether you are a prospective family, a current member of our community, or a visitor, we hope you experience the warmth, connection, and opportunity that define Kongorong Primary School and CPC. We look forward to working in partnership with you to support each child’s growth and success.
Sincerely,
Jamie Ryan
Principal
