Kongorong Primary School
Kongorong Primary School & Child Parent Centre (CPC)
At Kongorong Primary School we aim to provide a high quality education where all children in the community can achieve their goals in a safe, nurturing and intellectually creative environment.
We encourage a love of learning, a strong sense of self, respect for others, and the desire to become good global citizens. We promote independence and responsibility as we guide our students towards a positive future.
The school is very much part of the community. It draws students from the Kongorong township and local farms and from the communities of Carpenter Rocks, Pelican Point and Blackfellows Caves.
We cater for children from Kindergarten to Year 6, and most children graduate to Mount Gambier High School. With a total school population of 34 children, we offer a friendly, family-style educational setting that is welcoming, safe and encourages all students to be active learners.
Our students are a happy, confident, fit and active group of children who appreciate their opportunities and the Kongorong lifestyle and who try to live by the school’s values of honesty, respect, tolerance, working together and striving for success.
